Master Plan for Teacher Exchange 2022-2023

Teacher exchange for euregional teacher training in the framework of the Interreg V project EMRLingua.

An optimal preparation for students for life and work in the 21st century? A sharpening of intercultural competences and language skills? A professionalised cooperation between teachers from the Euregio Meuse-Rhine? This is made possible by the Masterplan for Teacher Exchange!
Within the framework of the Interreg V project EMRLingua, our project partner, the pedagogical college UCLL (University Colleges Leuven-Limburg in Flanders) is organising a Euregional teacher exchange for the coming school year 2022-2023. Three possible forms are offered for the Masterplan, depending on the target group:

  • Masterplan 1: for schools wishing to organise a student exchange.
  • Masterplan 2: for teachers of modern foreign languages ("neighbouring languages") French, German and Dutch
  • Masterplan 3: for CLIL teachers offering a subject in English, German, French or Dutch

Within the framework of Master Plans 2 and 3, participating teachers will be introduced to the innovative concept of Lesson Study. Five meetings are planned for the collaboration, which will be supplemented by two neighbouring language conferences.

The project will start on the 19th October 2022 at the neighbour language conference at Rolduc Abbey in Kerkrade and those interested can register now. The deadline for registration is October 3. Please note that the number of places is limited.

This is a project with great European cooperation potential, focusing on exchange and synergies across borders. Cross-border cooperation encourages creativity and supports problem solving - a great asset for our Euroregion!
