The Ministry of German-speaking Community is the administrative authority of Belgium’s German-speaking community. With its staff of around 350 people, the department prepares political decisions and eventually implements them. The departments of the ministry are regarded as service providers of the East Belgian population, and their staff are in intensive contact with the citizens of this region.
The educational department of the Ministry of German-speaking Community is lead partner in the EMRLingua project for the development and updating of Euroregional teaching materials, especially the development of the Euroregional geography book in collaboration with the CitiesRegion Aachen.
