Nuffic is the Dutch organisation for internationalisation in education. We believe that every child in the Netherlands should have the opportunity to develop international and intercultural skills.

In 2016, Nuffic established the Knowledge Centre for Neighbouring Languages. This centre has developed teaching materials, organised conferences and promoted the utility and necessity of teaching in the neighbouring language throughout the country. The project was completed by the end of 2020 and the materials then transferred to EMR Lingua. Nuffic will remain associated with EMR Lingua as a partner organisation.
